SUMMARY:The Art of Nature Wellbeing Walks – Paper Flowers Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Art of Nature Wellbeing Walks and Creative Activity\nJoin us for a gentle and welcoming wellbeing session combining a restorative walk and chat\, as well as a relaxing beginner-friendly creative activity inspired by nature\, heritage and traditional crafts. \nThe Art of Nature Wellbeing Walks is a 6-week community wellbeing programme created by Samantha Culshaw-Robinson of The Live Well Practice\, a Registered Hypnotherapist and NHS-trained Mindfulness Coach based in Nottingham\, in collaboration with with local creative practitioners. \nFor this summer’s programme\, Sam has invited me\, Sandrine from The Frog in the Craft\, to facilitate the creative activities alongside the walks\, which I was absolutely delighted to accept. \nThe programme is designed to help people slow down\, connect with others\, enjoy the outdoors and explore creativity in a calm and supportive environment. \nEach session includes:\n🌿 A gentle mindful group walk☕ Tea\, snacks and friendly conversation🧵 A simple creative activity suitable for beginners💚 Time to slow down and enjoy the process\, without pressure \nWe walk together at the pace of the group\, with pauses along the way to notice our surroundings\, listen to our bodies and simply enjoy being outdoors together. \nAfter the walk\, we regroup indoors for a cuppa\, biscuits\, a chat and a relaxing creative activity. \nNo experience is needed at all — these sessions are about enjoyment\, wellbeing and having a go\, not being an expert. \nWeek 1 – Paper Flowers\nThis week\, we’ll create beautiful decorative paper flowers using recycled papers such as old maps\, books and paper scraps. \nPractical Information\n📍 Walton Court\, Carlton\, Nottinghamshire📅 Wednesday 3rd June🕚 11am – 1.30pm🎟 FREE (booking required via Eventbrite) \nPlaces are limited\, so advance booking is essential. \n🌿 Community & Staying Connected\nThe Art of Nature Wellbeing Walks is all about gentle connection and community.
