DESCRIPTION:Paper Flowers – Recycling Crafts Workshop (Hucknall Wildlife Group Fundraiser)\n  \nCelebrate Earth Day with a relaxed\, creative paper flowers workshop in Hucknall\, while also raising funds for Hucknall Wildlife Group. \nThe workshop takes place on Thursday 23rd April 2026 from 7pm to 9pm at Keycraft Garden Buildings\, Hucknall. You will learn how to make decorative paper flowers using recycled materials such as old maps\, books and magazines. The session is suitable for beginners\, and all tools and materials are provided. \nThe Harrogate Spring Flower Show also begins on the same day. This felt like a lovely moment to make flowers in a more planet-friendly way. Each flower will be different. You will leave with a small handmade bouquet to take home. \nBecause this workshop uses reclaimed materials\, the ticket price is kept lower than usual. If you have old maps\, books or magazines you’d like to donate for use at this workshop\, they will be very welcome. \nWhat You’ll Make\nYou will create several paper flowers using simple techniques that are easy to repeat at home. No two flowers will be the same. You can experiment with colour\, texture and shape using different recycled papers. \nWho This Workshop Is For\nThis workshop is suitable for beginners and anyone who enjoys hands-on crafts\, mindful making\, or a couple of hours of creative “me time”. No prior experience is needed. \nWhat’s Included\nAll tools and materials are provided\, including recycled maps\, books and magazines\, glue and scissors. You’ll also receive simple guidance notes and a little extra information about Earth Day and flowers. Just bring yourself. \nDate\, Time & Location\nThursday 23rd April 2026\, 7pm to 9pmKeycraft Garden Buildings\, HucknallThe venue is wheelchair accessible. Places are limited to 12 people to keep the session relaxed and supportive. \nPrice & Booking\nTickets are £15 per person\, with £5 from each booking donated to Hucknall Wildlife Group in support of their local conservation work. Advance booking is essential as spaces are limited to 12. \nAbout the Workshop\nThis is a relaxed\, friendly workshop with gentle guidance rather than strict step-by-step instruction. The focus is on enjoying the process\, slowing down\, and having a creative evening in good company – with the bonus of taking home your own handmade paper flowers. \nYou can also browse the events calendar for more fundraising workshops\, as well as other textile and button making crafts
