Button Safety Pins – 50 pcs in Storage Box – Nickel Plated Steel

Nickel plated carbon steel button safety pins, especially made to attach delicate, non-washable, shank buttons on to your garments, so you can remove them before washing your clothes. Perfect if you love your handmade, or wooden buttons which cannot be washed and need to be removed each time.

These small safety pins are a must have in your haberdashery box for those handmade delicate buttons because they make buttons removable and interchangeable. They do not have a coil like traditional safety pins have.

They come as a pack of 50 pieces in a useful re-closable storage box. They each measure 19mm long.

Instructions for use:

Step 1 – Open the safety pin and insert the sharp point into the fabric where you want to attach the button and through the back of the button (or the shank).

Step 2 – Insert the sharp point through the fabric again as close to the initial insertion point as possible.

Step 3 – Close the safety pin and pull it so that the bump is in the middle, between the two insertion points.

Step 4 – Check that the button is properly positioned. And voilà !
