Anchor Pearl Cotton No. 5 is a smooth, 2-ply mercerised cotton with a silky sheen that brings definition and depth to every stitch. It’s soft to handle, yet strong enough for detailed work, making it a firm favourite among button makers and embroiderers alike.

Each skein is 21 m long and sold individually, so you can select just the shades you need. I currently stock 16 solid colours, all chosen for their beauty and versatility. Other shades can be requested — please note that Anchor is now part of the DMC group, and some colours may no longer be available as the range is being streamlined.

Ideal for Dorset buttons, embroidery, Hardanger, cross-stitch, blackwork, pulled thread, smocking, appliqué and many other creative stitchery projects.
