This sample pack contains one of each size of our wooden thread shuttles, laser-cut from 2 mm birch plywood. These shuttles were originally designed for Dorset button making, but their versatility makes them equally useful for thread-wrapped buttons, weaving, braiding, kumihimo-style cords, and general thread organisation.
Each shuttle keeps your thread smooth and tidy while maintaining good tension, making detailed handwork much easier. The lightweight plywood construction offers excellent control, and because they are reusable, they are ideal for eco-conscious crafters.
This sample pack is perfect if you’re experimenting with different thread thicknesses, button mould sizes, or techniques.
A quick wipe before first use will remove any light residue left from the laser cutting process.
