Lincatex Mending Wool is made in England. It is a 30% and 70% wool / nylon blend. It’s perfect to darn and reinforce socks which are prone to heavy wear. Use this 2-ply wool for repairing or darning socks and garments, for adding details to toys (eyes and nose) and for sewing buttons on your garments. Versatile enough that it can be used for making thread buttons (such as the Dorset button or the Deathhead) to match your handknits or even embroider whenever a slightly thicker thread is called for.

Instructions

To reinforce the hardwearing parts such as the toe or the heel, hold it together with your sock wool as you knit them.
