Alze polyacrylic mending wool is a durable, easy-care option for everyday repairs and craft work. Made from 100% polyacrylic and spun as a smooth 2-ply thread, it is ideal for darning thin-to-medium weight knitwear, reinforcing worn areas and stitching small repairs on a wide range of fabrics. Each plastic-free card contains 20 metres, giving you plenty of thread for socks, jumpers, sleeves and household textiles.
Because it is smooth, shrink-free and colourfast, this thread handles well for both functional and decorative stitching. It is useful not only for mending but also for sewing on buttons, button making, toy making and small embroidery accents where a slightly thicker, robust thread is needed.

The colours offered here are the last remaining in this range, as it has been discontinued by the supplier. Once they are gone, they cannot be restocked. If you are repairing a larger area, it is best to buy enough at the same time to ensure colour continuity across dye lots.
