These wooden thread bobbins are suitable for embroidery floss, sewing thread and colourwork knitting, making them a versatile addition to your craft kit.

Unlike cardboard bobbins, wooden thread bobbins are durable and long-lasting, and they are a more environmentally friendly alternative to plastic. Each frog bobbin is laser cut and engraved with “The Frog in the Craft” and comes in plastic-free packaging.

The frog’s cut-out eyes allow you to attach it to a hinged binding ring or keyring, making it easy to keep multiple bobbins together or carry your current project with you. Two small slits at the bottom of the bobbin help secure thread ends neatly so nothing unravels in your project bag.

Care Instructions

Due to the laser cutting process, there may be a small amount of dark residue on the edges. I wipe each bobbin before shipping, but for extra care, you may wish to gently wipe the edges with a barely damp cloth or baby wipe before winding light-coloured threads.
