Handmade Buttons – Elephants on Dark Grey – 22mm Recycled Tie on Metal Shank

Sustainable fashion accessories, these buttons are hand covered with a 100% silk fabric which comes from a high quality vintage tie ensuring a unique and eco-conscious touch. They feature an usual design of 3 African Savanna or Bush Elephants in a row with a tree.

Please note that these are made to order so dispatching may take a day longer than my other products.

Also note that these buttons are available in a more limited edition than the other hand covered silk buttons available in my shop, due to the number of elephants pattern that are available on the tie. Therefore these are only available by the unit, not in packs. Simply order the number of buttons you need.

Each button is crafted from 100% recycled silk tie, ensuring both a unique and eco-conscious touch. These are made in limited numbers because I only have the one necktie. So once it has been fully used, I will not make anymore in this design.

The buttons have also been lined with the tie’s own lining or (depending on availability) with some other recycled polycotton textile. The base is sturdy, made of a light metal (possibly aluminium, unconfirmed) ensuring durability and keeping within the eco-friendly theme (as opposed to a plastic base). The shank style design makes it simple to secure the buttons onto your clothing, bag or wherever you wish to apply them.

These versatile buttons can be used to enhance a variety of garments, from adding a touch of refinement to menswear to creating a statement piece on ladieswear. Alternatively, these buttons can serve as embellishments on accessories like bags and hats, adding a touch of sophistication and character.
