The kit includes the fabric, white No. 5 and No. 8 pearl cotton, needle, chart and instructions. The black and white chart is printed at 10 stitches per 1.5 cm on an A5 sheet, providing a clear reference as you work through the design.

Instructions for Use

Follow the supplied chart and instructions to work the design using the included Hardanger fabric and pearl cotton. The pattern combines Kloster blocks, woven bars, satin stitch, four-sided stitch and eyelet stitch.

Hardanger embroidery involves carefully cutting selected fabric threads to form the characteristic openwork. Check your stitching and the supplied instructions carefully before making any cuts.

Complete and make up the scissors case according to the instructions supplied with the kit.

Care Instructions

Keep the fabric and threads clean and dry while stitching. Wash your hands before working with the white materials to help prevent marks on the finished embroidery.

If the completed purse requires cleaning, handle the decorative stitching and openwork carefully and use a cleaning method suitable for cotton embroidery.
