Create your own handmade buttons with this sample pack of 5 flat wooden button mould discs. Made from 2 mm thick birch plywood, each disc features engraved guide lines and a 3 mm central hole for precision and stability when wrapping or covering.
These moulds are perfect for both thread-wrapped buttons (such as Deathead buttons) and fabric-covered styles. They’re designed to help you achieve consistent, neat results while exploring traditional and heritage button-making techniques.
Each pack contains five discs in the following sizes:
2 × 30 mm + 1 × 24 mm + 1 × 18 mm + 1 × 12 mm.
This sample pack is ideal for practice and to to find out which size your project might require so that you don’t order 10 of the wrong size.
The wooden button mould discs with guide lines are also available in packs of 10 single size and a pack of 20 assorted sizes.
Care Instructions
- Soot residue from the laser cutting process of the wood may still remain on the edge. Therefore you may like to gently wipe them with a slightly damp cloth before use.
- Wooden button moulds are not suitable for washing. To protect your garment, attach handmade buttons using a safety pin, so they can be removed before washing.
