Workshop Calendar
See what’s coming soon and find the perfect one in the perfect venue for you
Here is the list of all the workshops that I will be teaching in the coming months, in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Area. I will try and keep this list as up-to-date as possible, so that it only shows what’s coming up. If you belong to a community group and would like me to come and deliver a workshop for your group, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
All the workshops located at The Newstead Centre (Newstead Village), The Framework Knitters Museum (Ruddington) and Keycraft Garden Centre (Hucknall) can be booked directly with me via this website or via email / WhatsApp. Visit each event for more information.
All the workshops located at Nibbles, Needles and Hooks or at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Station (in collaboration with Wild Roots Creatives) can be booked via their respective websites or by contacting them directly. All details are included in the individual events.
All workshops are beginner friendly, are held in small group settings of no more than 12 people per session (some are no more than 6 people per session).
Most workshops will include refreshments and sweet treats on the day and an optional participation to a “hidden” WhatsApp Group for additional support.
I hope to see you soon!

Introduction to Heritage Button Making – Derbyshire Makes Festival

Join me and the Creative Women’s Network at Derbyshire Makes‘ Bolsover Day for a free drop-in introduction to heritage button making.
You will be able to try one of two traditional thread button techniques: the Yorkshire button and the Deathead button. Both are beginner-friendly, relaxing and surprisingly addictive once you get started.
All materials are included. You will make a button to take home during the session. You will also receive simple tools and printed instructions so you can continue exploring heritage button making afterwards.
📍 You’ll find my gazebo at pitch 30 on Castle Street, just past Castle Street Café and outside The Pump, between 10am and 12pm on Saturday 16th May.
This workshop is part of the Derbyshire Makes Festival and is free, family-friendly and drop-in — no booking required.
Come and discover a mindful heritage craft with roots in British textile history.
