Workshop Calendar
See what’s coming soon and find the perfect one in the perfect venue for you
Here is the list of all the workshops that I will be teaching in the coming months, in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Area. I will try and keep this list as up-to-date as possible, so that it only shows what’s coming up. If you belong to a community group and would like me to come and deliver a workshop for your group, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
All the workshops located at The Newstead Centre (Newstead Village), The Framework Knitters Museum (Ruddington) and Keycraft Garden Centre (Hucknall) can be booked directly with me via this website or via email / WhatsApp. Visit each event for more information.
All the workshops located at Nibbles, Needles and Hooks or at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Station (in collaboration with Wild Roots Creatives) can be booked via their respective websites or by contacting them directly. All details are included in the individual events.
All workshops are beginner friendly, are held in small group settings of no more than 12 people per session (some are no more than 6 people per session).
Most workshops will include refreshments and sweet treats on the day and an optional participation to a “hidden” WhatsApp Group for additional support.
I hope to see you soon!
The Art of Nature Wellbeing Walks – Paper Flowers Workshop
The Art of Nature Wellbeing Walks and Creative Activity
Join us for a gentle and welcoming wellbeing session combining a restorative walk and chat, as well as a relaxing beginner-friendly creative activity inspired by nature, heritage and traditional crafts.
The Art of Nature Wellbeing Walks is a 6-week community wellbeing programme created by Samantha Culshaw-Robinson of The Live Well Practice, a Registered Hypnotherapist and NHS-trained Mindfulness Coach based in Nottingham, in collaboration with with local creative practitioners.
For this summer’s programme, Sam has invited me, Sandrine from The Frog in the Craft, to facilitate the creative activities alongside the walks, which I was absolutely delighted to accept.
The programme is designed to help people slow down, connect with others, enjoy the outdoors and explore creativity in a calm and supportive environment.
Each session includes:
🌿 A gentle mindful group walk
☕ Tea, snacks and friendly conversation
🧵 A simple creative activity suitable for beginners
💚 Time to slow down and enjoy the process, without pressure
We walk together at the pace of the group, with pauses along the way to notice our surroundings, listen to our bodies and simply enjoy being outdoors together.
After the walk, we regroup indoors for a cuppa, biscuits, a chat and a relaxing creative activity.
No experience is needed at all — these sessions are about enjoyment, wellbeing and having a go, not being an expert.
Week 1 – Paper Flowers
This week, we’ll create beautiful decorative paper flowers using recycled papers such as old maps, books and paper scraps.

Frequently Asked Questions
“What if I don’t know anyone?”
That’s absolutely fine — many people may come on their own, and Sandrine will only know Sam herself! The walks are designed to help everyone relax, chat naturally and connect gently over time.
“Do I need to be fit?”
No. We walk together at the pace of the group, with regular pauses to rest, observe our surroundings and check in with ourselves.
“Do I need to be artistic or crafty?”
Definitely not. These are relaxed beginner-friendly activities focused on enjoyment and the process of making, not perfection. Even if you normally wouldn’t call yourself creative, you are very welcome to have a go.
“Do I have to fully take part in the craft activity?”
Not at all. You are welcome to simply enjoy a cuppa and the company if you prefer.
“Do I need to attend all 6 weeks?”
No — you are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as you like. We simply ask that you register so we know who to expect.
