Workshop Calendar

See what’s coming soon and find the perfect one in the perfect venue for you

Here is the list of all the workshops that I will be teaching in the coming months, in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Area. I will try and keep this list as up-to-date as possible, so that it only shows what’s coming up. If you belong to a community group and would like me to come and deliver a workshop for your group, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

All the workshops located at The Newstead Centre (Newstead Village), The Framework Knitters Museum (Ruddington) and Keycraft Garden Centre (Hucknall) can be booked directly with me via this website or via email / WhatsApp. Visit each event for more information.

All the workshops located at Nibbles, Needles and Hooks or at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Station (in collaboration with Wild Roots Creatives) can be booked via their respective websites or by contacting them directly. All details are included in the individual events.

All workshops are beginner friendly, are held in small group settings of no more than 12 people per session (some are no more than 6 people per session).
Most workshops will include refreshments and sweet treats on the day and an optional participation to a “hidden” WhatsApp Group for additional support.

I hope to see you soon!

Paper Flowers – Recycling Crafts Workshop (Hucknall Wildlife Grp)

April 23 @ 19:00 - 21:00
£15.00

Paper Flowers – Recycling Crafts Workshop (Hucknall Wildlife Group Fundraiser)

Celebrate Earth Day with a relaxed, creative paper flowers workshop in Hucknall, while also raising funds for Hucknall Wildlife Group.

The workshop takes place on Thursday 23rd April 2026 from 7pm to 9pm at Keycraft Garden Buildings, Hucknall. You will learn how to make decorative paper flowers using recycled materials such as old maps, books and magazines. The session is suitable for beginners, and all tools and materials are provided.

The Harrogate Spring Flower Show also begins on the same day. This felt like a lovely moment to make flowers in a more planet-friendly way. Each flower will be different. You will leave with a small handmade bouquet to take home.

Because this workshop uses reclaimed materials, the ticket price is kept lower than usual. If you have old maps, books or magazines you’d like to donate for use at this workshop, they will be very welcome.

What You’ll Make

You will create several paper flowers using simple techniques that are easy to repeat at home. No two flowers will be the same. You can experiment with colour, texture and shape using different recycled papers.

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is suitable for beginners and anyone who enjoys hands-on crafts, mindful making, or a couple of hours of creative “me time”. No prior experience is needed.

What’s Included

All tools and materials are provided, including recycled maps, books and magazines, glue and scissors. You’ll also receive simple guidance notes and a little extra information about Earth Day and flowers. Just bring yourself.
